食神牛A famous horse meat restaurant in Kumamoto, the shop is located on a quiet street. The storefront on the second floor is very quiet and elegant. The receptionist is very friendly. She asked if there was an appointment to arrange a seat. Fortunately, I didn't make an appointment but waited for a small private room. The shop is long and narrow, and the private room is small but clean and comfortable. The dishes are horse meat-themed sashimi, sushi, stone grilled, boiled, rice bowl, and soup. I ordered the seasonal cherry bowl for 1800 yen (limited to 10 servings per day), with pickled side dishes and miso soup. The rice bowl is rich in color, grilled horse meat, horse meat sashimi, horse meat minced, mixed with egg skin shreds and vegetables, and it is very delicious with crystal clear rice.
